PP Motorcycle Half Helmet

Model:T888
Ask a scooter commuter why they don’t wear a helmet on a five-minute grocery run. The answer is almost never “I don’t care about safety.” It’s “the full-face is in the garage and I’m already late.” This pp motorcycle half helmet manufactured by Ningde Chief Pigeon Technology Co., Ltd. exists for that five-minute trip — and the forty-minute commute, and the Sunday cruise. 29 × 22 × 18 cm. High-impact PP. A rear dial that locks in three clicks. A tinted inner lens that slides down with one thumb. It doesn’t announce itself. It doesn’t need to.

Introduce of the product

Ningde Chief Pigeon Technology Co., Ltd. operates a 12,000 m² ISO 9001:2015 facility running 6 dedicated helmet lines at 200,000 units monthly. Certified across DOT FMVSS 218, ECE 22.06, CCC, and CE. BSCI audited. SGS/BV open-door. 50+ export countries and counting. When you choose this PP Half-helmet motorcycle, you partner with a factory that tests every design against real riders, not just lab standards.

Thispp motorcycle half helmet grew out of a simple observation: too many riders skip helmets on short trips because full-face shells feel like overkill. The answer wasn’t a cheaper full-face. It was a half helmet worth grabbing on the way out the door — one that adjusts in three clicks, handles sun without sunglasses, and weighs so little you forget it’s there until the dual-density EPS liner makes its case.

The Fit That Sold Itself

Our 120-member test group rode this helmet for 2,000 collective kilometers. The feedback that dominated wasn’t about the visor or vents. It was the dial.

“I’ve got a weird head shape. Helmets either pinch my temples or slide forward at stoplights. This one doesn’t do either. Three clicks on the rear dial and it’s locked. I don’t think about the fit anymore. I just ride.” — Test rider, 12-km daily scooter commute.

“I like that I can put it on one-handed, twist the dial with my thumb, and go. No fumbling with D-rings in front of my apartment while my coffee gets cold.” — Test rider, urban delivery courier.

A good half helmet doesn’t earn paragraphs of praise. It earns the kind of silence where you forget you’re wearing it.

PP Over ABS: A Deliberate Choice

Most half helmets in this category use ABS. We tested both. PP won. Polypropylene sheds 10–15% of shell weight compared to an equivalent ABS dome — and in a half helmet, where every gram sits directly on your crown, that difference compounds over an hour-long ride. The matte finish resists micro-scratches better than gloss ABS, which matters on a helmet tossed into top cases and under-seat storage.

For buyers who prefer a deeper gloss finish, we offer the same mold in ABS. For everyone else, PP delivers the lighter, tougher, lower-cost option that made our test group stop reaching for their old helmets.

Sun. Solved.

pp motorcycle half helmet with HD visor have one sunglasss. No swapping. The inner lens is a tinted polycarbonate shield that slides down with a single gloved-finger push, sits close to your face without touching, and retracts fully into the shell when the sun dips behind a building.

Inner Sunscreen Lens:

• Tinted polycarbonate shield with a contoured nose cutout

• Single gloved-finger operation — push to deploy, push to retract

• Retracts completely into the shell; zero bulk when not in use

• No sunglasses to carry, lose, or swap mid-ride

Everything Removable. Everything Washable.

The dark grey crown pad. The light grey comfort liner. The chin strap cover. All of it pulls out by hand — no tools, no clips to break. After a week of August humidity and sweaty commutes, drop the liner in warm water with mild soap, squeeze it out, hang it overnight. Morning comes and it’s dry, odorless, and back in the helmet.

Safety Without the Speech

The dual-density EPS linerofSturdy pp motorcycle half helmet absorbs impact in two stages: the outer layer crushes to dissipate the first hit, the inner layer stays firm to prevent bottoming out. The PP shell disperses the rest across the dome. It’s the same principle as a full-face EPS system, applied to half-shell form. No shortcuts, no “it’s just a half helmet” compromises.

Certifications held: DOT FMVSS 218.. CCC. CE. A yellow CCC sticker on every back panel — not because we’re proud of it, but because it’s the floor.

The Reflector Strip

A textured white horizontal strip runs across the lower back of the shell. It doesn’t light up. It doesn’t blink. It catches headlights — the kind of passive visibility that matters when you’re merging at dusk and a driver hasn’t checked their mirror.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How does the rear dial hold up after months of daily use?

The ratcheting mechanism uses a metal spring-loaded pawl inside a reinforced nylon housing. We ran 5,000 adjustment cycles — roughly two years of daily tightening and loosening — and zero units showed slippage or tooth wear. The dial clicks audibly with each increment, so you can feel and hear when it’s locked.

PP vs ABS — which one should I stock?

PP suits riders who prioritize weight and value. ABS suits retailers targeting a glossier, premium shelf presence. Both are certified to the same DOT, ECE 22.06, and CCC standards. Our recommendation: stock PP as your volume SKU, ABS as your premium tier. Same mold, same shape, same dial, same certification.

Does the inner sunscreen lens fog in humid weather?

The lens sits behind the outer brim with an air gap that creates passive airflow, reducing fog buildup compared to sealed dual-visor systems. In humidity-chamber testing at 35°C and 85% relative humidity, the lens cleared fog within 8 seconds at 30 km/h airflow. A quick crack of the outer brim does the rest.
